Charitable Donations Through JADA

One of the ways that Keith Pierson Toyota contributes to the Jacksonville community is through our membership with the Jacksonville Automobile Dealers Association (JADA). Comprising 62 auto-dealer members from Duval, Nassau, Clay, and St. Johns Counties, the association regularly makes donations to numerous family and children charitable organizations throughout Northeast Florida. After more than 20 years of giving, it has donated in excess of $2 million to charities and community service programs in the region. 

Additionally, in February every year, JADA holds the Jacksonville International Auto Show, which is the largest annual event for its dealer members. This show attracts thousands of visitors from near and far, who come to view the latest vehicle models of the year. Hundreds of new cars, SUVs, hybrid vehicles, pickup trucks, and minivans from a wide range of auto manufacturers will be on display throughout the four-day event. A portion of the proceeds from the show will go toward supporting local charities.

While it's focusing mainly on family and children charities, JADA is always on the lookout for opportunities to contribute to the local community. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit Jacksonville, the board members of the association felt compelled to show appreciation for the frontline heroes who put their lives on the line to help others. They contracted a local meal preparation company to provide meals to hospital workers, police substations, and first responders. A total of 2,500 meals were delivered.

The COVID-19 outbreak has not only jeopardized the health and safety of Jacksonville residents, but also caused many people to lose their jobs or sources of income. Involvement in the Toyota 100 Cars for Good Program 

Keith Pierson Toyota is also proud to be a part of the Toyota 100 Cars for Good program. This program is a philanthropic initiative that takes place on Facebook, where Toyota gives away 100 cars to 100 charitable organizations in 100 days. A popular vote will be conducted on Facebook to determine the winner. Each day, five organizations will be chosen to take part in the giveaway. The winner will receive a brand new Toyota vehicle, while the remaining four will get a contribution amounting to $1,000.

In 2012, a Middleburg rescue group called K-9 Services German Shepherd Rescue became one of the winners of the Toyota 100 Cars for Good contest. Keith Pierson Toyota handed over the keys to a new Toyota Highlander to the rescue group at our dealership. In addition, we also offered the winner an extended lifetime warranty and over $1,500 worth of accessories, including window tint and pinstripes, paint and fabric protection, nitrogen-filled tires, a back-up warning system, and a vehicle alarm system. 

According to K-9 Services German Shepherd Rescue, they planned to use the Highlander for transporting rescued dogs from kill shelters to veterinary facilities and eventually to their adoptive homes. The vehicle will also make the task of transporting equipment to adoption and community events a lot easier.
