Before I started working at Keith Pierson Toyota, I knew the very basics of working on cars from small jobs with my stepdad. Being in the TACT program has been a big investment in myself and I’ve learned a lot. Overall, the TACT program has been an awesome experience. I’ve been able to learn great diagnostic tips and the classes are very informative on the newest up-to-date information. Tearing down and rebuilding the A25A (4 cyl Camry) was probably my favorite part of the class. Thank you to Jonathan McDowell and Keith Pierson Toyota for the opportunity.

In 2010, I started with Toyota. Over the course of the next 2 years, I was promoted and moved up to a line tech. I was sent to school and taught how to work on vehicles at S.E.T. Along with that came A.S.E. testing as well as the F.T.S. I have been here for 12 years this summer. Now, I’m a Certified Toyota Master Technician. They started the TACT program to help young techs in the industry grow. It’s a great tool to expand their knowledge and experience! Growing up, I used to look at show truck magazines and dream. Working for Toyota has allowed me to travel and go to car and truck shows in and out of state. My career has giving me the opportunity to own my own show truck. The programs offered to me by Keith Pierson Toyota and Toyota have really paid off financially. It has allowed me to help my family in hard times and has given me financial freedom.

The TACT program has been a huge benefit to me, both for knowledge, and career growth. The program offers opportunities to learn under a mentor who will share their knowledge with you. The TACT program also has helped further my love of cars. Growing up, I loved working on cars, tinkering with them. Toyota was a natural choice. My friends and family owned Toyotas. Now, I get to work on them, thanks to the TACT program. The TACT program has given me the opportunity to move up in my career, which has helped my family get a house. I am truly thankful to Jonathan McDowell and Keith Pierson Toyota for giving me this chance to be part of this program. I’m thankful for the mentorship I got from Gary Johnson, and for all the instructors at Southeast Toyota for being great teachers. I loved every bit of it.
