TacoLu
TacoLu originally opened in 2008 as a taco stand and quickly grew into the Baja-style Mexican restaurant Jacksonville locals know and love. While it’s open for regular dining seven days a week, it only offers brunch on the weekends.
Much like the standard dining menu, the TacoLu brunch menu includes a selection of breakfast tacos and brunch entrees. Choose from classic brunch favorites like huevos rancheros or chorizo and eggs, or think about trying the Don “The Magic Juan.” This includes tater tots, cheddar cheese, and bacon scrambled with three eggs and topped with pico de gallo and more cheese. Another great option is the Don Patrol, which Southern Living Magazine named as one of the best brunches in South Florida. This is a large flour tortilla stuffed with two eggs, tater tots, chorizo, black beans, and cheese.

The Cool Moose Cafe menu offers a variety of breakfast favorites omelets, salads, sandwiches, pastries and more. For a hearty breakfast, consider the Cool Moose Breakfast, which includes two farm-fresh eggs, double-stack pancakes, toast, smoked bacon, sausage, and home fries or grits. Another favorite option is the Southern Duo, which is a southern-style chicken breast served on buttermilk biscuits and covered with sausage and gravy. Veggie loves may like the Breakfast Portobello, which is a grilled Portobello mushroom cap stuffed with sauteed veggies, topped with Parmesan cheese and two eggs and served with toast and home fries.
