Bent Creek Golf Course
The Jacksonville course at the Bent Creek Club stretches 6,620 yards and has a par of 71. The municipal facility has been open since 1989. It uses Bermuda grass and has a slope rating of 131.
In addition to the 18-hole course, there’s a 30-tee driving range where you can practice your swing. The driving range is lighted, allowing you to continue practice after dark.
Beginning in May 2021, renovations on the Bent Creek course’s greens began with the aim of improving their condition. Temporary greens were used during the summer of 2021, but the renovations were successfully completed by September 2021.
The clubhouse at Bent Creek offers cold beverages, sandwiches, and snacks. You can relax after a round on the clubhouse patio or take a seat at the bar.
Blue Cypress Golf Course
The Blue Cypress Golf Course is a great choice if you don’t have time for a full round, since it’s a nine-hole course. Located just 2 miles from the center of Jacksonville, it’s also within easy reach. The course is managed by Indigo Golf Partners, the same business tasked with operating the Bent Creek course.
Blue Cypress is a very new course, having just opened in 2021. Prior to that, the site was home to a golf course from the 1960s, but that facility closed down in 2003.

Casa Linda Oaks Golf Course
The only private golf course on this list, Casa Linda Oaks boasts three nine-hole courses that can be played separately. They’re known as the red, white, and blue courses. The red and white courses can also be played together if you’d like a full round of 18 holes.
The courses feature tree-lined fairways and large lakes. The club welcomes golfers of all skill levels, with PGA professionals on hand to help tweak your game or improve your novice abilities.
You can also visit the pro golf shop to purchase any equipment or apparel you may require. At the golf shop, you can sign up to the E-Club, which gets you access to special offers and other benefits on a regular basis.
Hyde Park Golf Club
You can play 18 holes of golf at the Hyde Park Golf Club, which stretches 6,468 yards. It’s the oldest public course in Jacksonville, having opened in 1925. During the 1940s and 1950s, the course was a regular destination on the PGA men’s and women’s tours.
Significant renovations on the course began in 2016. The clubhouse received a full makeover, while fairways and greens were given a revamp.
The club has an online shop and tee-time booking service. You can also schedule your event at the course or attend one of its golf competitions throughout the year.
Blue Sky Golf Club
The Blue Sky Golf Club is centrally located in Jacksonville. It offers attractive golfing options for everyone, from kids to professionals. You can play a full round of golf on Blue Sky’s 18 holes or opt for a shorter three-hole or six-hole round depending on availability. A nine-hole round is also possible. The course is an Arnold Palmer Signature Design, giving it a unique character.
After your round is done, why not relax at the Blue Sky Bar & Grill, which offers a wide range of restaurant food and drinks? If you’d rather focus on practicing your game instead, there’s a driving range with state-of-the-art tracing technology.

Jax Beach Golf Club
The course at the Jax Beach Golf Club is an 18-hole public course spread across 6,510 yards. The course is owned by the City of Jacksonville Beach and has a 50-year history. It started out as a nine-hole course before being expanded later on to the full 18 holes. In 2018, a major renovation project began to modernize the course. The renovation included the opening of a new restaurant that’s open to all. The pro shop was also upgraded.
On the course, new fairways were built with Bermuda grass. New turf was also laid on the greens with salt-resistant grass. Golfing attire is required during your round, with casual dress not permitted. Unacceptable attire includes short shorts, gym gear, and T-shirts.
